Prospective Graduate Student

Our group recruits 2–4 new graduate students each year. We welcome applicants from a variety of scientific backgrounds — not only chemistry, but also materials science, chemical engineering, biology, and physics — as long as you are eligible to pursue an M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry at POSTECH.
How to apply If you are interested in joining our group, please email Prof. Sungjee Kim (sungjee@postech.ac.kr) at least six months before your intended application to the graduate program.
Your email should include:
- A statement of your specific motivation for joining the group
- Your CV
- A certificate of Korean language proficiency (for non-native Korean speakers only)
We strongly encourage prospective students to gain hands-on research experience in our group for several months prior to formally applying to the program.
